Purchasing Manager

What you'll do

• Manage purchasing activities and lead the purchasing team
• align purchasing with production requirements, project schedules, inventory, and material demand
• issue and monitor purchase orders
• identify shortages and delays, expedite critical materials, and develop recovery plans
• manage supplier relationships and negotiate commercial terms when appropriate
• pursue cost savings and alternate suppliers
• coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Accounting, and other teams
• maintain ERP purchasing data and monitor supplier and purchasing KPIs
• improve procedures and controls.
