What you'll do

• Coach, supervise, and instruct student athletes at all program levels
• work with approximately 40 athletes and evaluate players for team placement
• develop practice plans and match lineups for JV and varsity teams
• communicate with athletes, parents, coaches, and Athletic Administration
• assist with tennis facility upkeep
• guide new coaches in tennis skills and strategies
• supervise athletes at weekend tournaments as needed on a rotating basis.

Why this role

Season generally runs mid-February through May; availability is required four days per week, typically 3:15–5:30 p.m., and Saturdays 9 a.m.–1 p.m., with additional evening match hours and occasional weekend tournament travel. Fall tennis and winter conditioning programs are also included.
