Evening Custodian

The Evening Custodian role is onsite in Charleston, SC, supporting Porter-Gaud School’s three campuses. Compensation is commensurate with experience. The custodian works in the Facilities Department of an independent school serving students from preschool through grade 12. The role maintains school spaces through routine cleaning and may support special events with setup and cleanup. It helps keep offices, classrooms, gymnasiums, and the cafeteria clean and ready for students, staff, and school activities.

What you'll do

• Sweep, dust, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets
• clean and stock restrooms
• collect and dispose of trash and recycling
• follow safety regulations and department rules
• assist with event setups and cleanup as needed
• transition to day-shift work during summer months as required.
