Assistant Project Manager, Construction

The Assistant Project Manager, Construction role is onsite in West Palm Beach, FL, with compensation of $90,000–$105,000 per year. The role supports assigned construction projects and works closely with the Project Manager and project team. The position helps manage administrative and technical project requirements so work can be completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to specified quality standards. It supports preconstruction, contract administration, procurement, scheduling, project financial tracking, subcontractor coordination, and closeout.

What you'll do

• Assist the Project Manager with project administration and preconstruction
• assemble bid documents, organize takeoffs and bids, develop bid clarifications and RFIs, and update schedules
• maintain subcontract and purchase order logs, shop drawings, submittals, insurance certificates, permits, warranties, and closeout materials
• track project progress, budgets, costs, and billings
• coordinate meetings and communications with clients, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and project staff
• support site safety, quality, and risk management.
