The Cold Food (Salad) Associate role is onsite at Stetson University in DeLand, FL. The pay range is $16–$17 per hour. Chartwells Higher Ed supports campus food service at the university. The role prepares and serves salads, sandwiches, and other cold foods while following production, portion, temperature, storage, and sanitation standards. It helps keep cold-food service stocked, safe, and ready for campus customers.

What you'll do

• Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments, and salads to production standards
• stock and replenish cold products
• carry food pans and trays
• store food using HACCP wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures
• clean and sanitize preparation and serving areas
• slice meats and cheeses using knives or slicing equipment
• coordinate with coworkers on service, inventory, and cash-control procedures
• maintain a clean and safe work environment.
