The Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Technician 3 position is onsite in San Francisco, CA, with pay of $34.78–$42.72 per hour. M.C. Dean designs, builds, operates, and maintains technology and infrastructure systems for mission-critical facilities. The role is part of the Critical Power Group. The technician inspects, maintains, tests, and troubleshoots UPS systems, batteries, and related power equipment. The work supports reliable, available, and high-quality power through preventive maintenance, repairs, technical assistance, and system certification.

What you'll do

• Install and repair static switch and PDU systems
• perform scheduled preventive maintenance
• use electrical test equipment
• inspect, test, and repair power backup systems and controls
• review system drawings and specifications
• document and certify work
• coordinate on-site subcontractors
• provide technical assistance and maintenance guidance
• maintain required reports and equipment.

Why this role
