The Director of Quality Compliance and Validation Strategy role is onsite in Boston, MA. Compensation is $180,000–$210,000 per year. Lumafield develops industrial CT scanning and AI-driven tools to provide product visibility and inspection capabilities for manufacturing. The director owns the company-wide Quality Management System and leads compliance, customer validation, and audit readiness. The role advises product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams so Lumafield’s systems meet quality and regulatory expectations in regulated industries, particularly medical devices.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain a unified Quality Management System
• lead compliance initiatives for ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 and prepare for additional certifications
• support enterprise customer validation with technical documentation
• advise product and engineering teams on validated solutions
• lead customer audits, regulatory inspections, and internal assessments
• guide cross-functional teams on regulatory requirements and quality practices
• use data-driven insights to improve processes and mitigate risks.
