Activity Aide

What you'll do

• Assist with planning and leading daily resident activities
• organize games, arts and crafts, music, exercise, entertainment, social events, and recreational programs
• encourage participation while respecting individual choices and abilities
• provide one-on-one activities when appropriate
• assist residents traveling to activities
• set up and clean activity areas
• help coordinate special events and outings
• communicate observations to the Activity Director or nursing staff
• maintain attendance records and follow facility safety and infection-control procedures.
