Community-Based Youth Mentor

The Community-Based Youth Mentor role is onsite in Hudson, NY. Pay is $19.00–$20.00 per hour. The position supports the Mental Health Association of Columbia-Greene Counties’ work advocating for the well-being of individuals, families, and communities. The mentor works directly with youth ages 7 to 18, providing positive role modeling and advocacy while helping them pursue short- and long-term goals. The role includes scheduled weekly meetings, documentation, required training and supervision meetings, and attendance at relevant client meetings when necessary.

What you'll do

• Meet weekly with assigned youth for up to five hours
• support youth goals through mentoring and advocacy
• attend required training and staff or supervision meetings
• document community-based work
• coordinate with teachers or school support staff
• attend official client meetings when necessary
• maintain confidentiality within stated safety exceptions.
