Medical Assistant

What you'll do

• Take and record vital signs
• document patient histories and symptoms in the EHR
• assist physicians with examinations, minor procedures, and treatments
• perform basic laboratory tests, prepare specimens, and perform phlebotomy as needed
• administer medications as directed
• sterilize instruments and sanitize rooms
• manage check-in, appointments, calls, and records
• assist with billing, insurance verification, and prior authorizations.
