Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician

The Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician role is onsite in O'Fallon, MO, and pays $23.10–$30.96 per hour, plus shift differential compensation. The role supports Permian Plastics’ injection molding operations. The technician maintains stable, efficient molding processes by setting up and adjusting production, troubleshooting defects and interruptions, and documenting process parameters. Collaboration with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Tooling helps resolve issues and support safe production of quality parts.

What you'll do

• Set up, start, monitor, and adjust injection molding processes
• troubleshoot defects, process variation, equipment concerns, and interruptions
• sample new molds and identify refinements
• monitor cycle times, scrap rates, and process performance
• document optimized processes and setup information
• report tooling, maintenance, material, or equipment concerns
• provide technical guidance
• follow safety, quality, and operating standards
• provide backup shift-supervision support when needed.
