The Senior Accountant helps protect the organization’s financial health by delivering accurate, timely, compliant reporting and practical analysis. The role supports leadership and program teams with close activities, budgets, grant reporting, cash management, and audit readiness.

What you'll do

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close
• prepare financial statements and budget-to-actual analysis
• coordinate reporting for the general ledger, budgets, cost allocation, and funding sources
• maintain compliance with GAAP, FASB, OMB, grant and contract requirements, and applicable regulations
• oversee or perform payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, budgeting, and cash management
• prepare grant reimbursement packages and reports
• coordinate audit documentation
• monitor internal controls
• review contracted finance staff’s work and provide guidance as needed.
