Job overview

The MRI Technologist role is an onsite position based in Broomfield, CO. Compensation is $40.40 - $56.56 per hour, depending on experience, supporting the UCHealth Broomfield Hospital MRI department in its mission to improve lives through diagnostic excellence. This role exists to perform magnetic resonance imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The technologist reviews patient history, educates patients, prepares equipment, administers contrast media, and ensures high-quality imaging results in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

  • Reviews patient history, physician's orders and does scheduling.
  • Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications.
  • Monitors patient condition.
  • Prepares equipment and supplies.
  • Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
  • Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s).
