What you'll do

• Inspect buildings and structures for fire hazards and fire code violations

• conduct onsite inspections and test fire protection systems

• evaluate evacuation procedures
• explain fire code requirements and prevention information
• replace defective fire detection equipment
• keep current on fire safety codes and firefighting procedures.
