Residential Advisor

The Residential Advisor role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA. Compensation is $13–$16 per hour. Alternative Living Concepts supports individuals with disabilities in a community home setting. The advisor helps residents pursue personal outcomes and participate in daily living, leisure, and community activities. The role contributes to residents’ health, safety, and welfare while following individual Community Life Plans and agency procedures.

What you'll do

• Provide companion support in a community home
• support personal outcomes and implement Community Life Plans
• accompany individuals on recreational and shopping trips
• engage residents in leisure activities
• assist with activities of daily living
• complete job-related documentation
• communicate concerns to the supervisor
• support doctor appointments, medication administration, and transportation under defined conditions
• complete assigned chores and annual human-services training.
