The Metal Stamping Technician role is onsite in Fort Wayne, IN. Compensation is not specified. The technician sets up and proves out stamping presses and coil-fed lines, completing die changes and first-piece approval so production can run accurately and on time. The role also troubleshoots process issues, performs inspections and documentation, follows safety procedures, and supports continuous improvement and operator training. The schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:30 a.m.–5 p.m., with overtime as needed on Fridays.

What you'll do

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, die prints, and work orders
• set and change dies and configure coil-fed press lines
• adjust press settings and protection systems
• run trial strips and troubleshoot defects
• release proven setups to operators
• coordinate with Engineering, Tool & Die, and Maintenance
• inspect parts and document quality and traceability
• follow safety procedures
• perform preventive maintenance
• recommend process improvements and train press operators.
