The Director of Residential Services role is onsite in Elyria, OH. Pay is $65,000–$70,000 per year. Blissful Living Home Care LLC provides residential and community-based services for individuals with developmental disabilities. The director oversees program operations, staff, service quality, and compliance so services align with individual service plans and applicable Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities requirements. The role supports safe, person-centered care through staff development, site oversight, incident follow-up, and coordination with individuals, families, guardians, and service partners.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily operations across assigned residential homes and community-based programs
• supervise, coach, and evaluate staff
• coordinate staffing and schedules
• ensure services follow individual service plans
• monitor documentation, training, and compliance
• conduct site visits to assess service quality, home conditions, and safety
• coordinate incident reporting and corrective actions
• communicate with individuals served, families, guardians, county board representatives, and service teams
• collaborate with management on operational concerns and program improvements
• assist with hiring, onboarding, performance management, and staff development
• respond to urgent staffing and program concerns and participate in on-call coverage as assigned.

Why this role
