Assistant Project Manager — Construction

The Assistant Project Manager role is onsite in the Central Valley, CA, with weekly travel to client sites. Compensation is $80,000–$100,000+ per year, dependent on experience. The assistant project manager supports the Project Manager with short- and long-term project goals, coordinating project plans, schedules, documentation, budgets, and client communication. This work helps project teams deliver contracted construction scopes and maintain client satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Support project teams with contractual scopes, site visits, customer meetings, subcontractor coordination, and pre-construction walks
• develop and maintain execution plans, subcontract creation, and equipment procurement
• support project schedules
• prepare monthly status reports
• interact with clients
• review shop drawings and submittals
• complete closeout and turnover documents
• manage change-control and financial documentation
• monitor project costs and budgets
• maintain project records.
