The Commercial Refrigeration Technician role is onsite in Longs, SC. Pay is $30–$40 per hour. The technician supports TNT Heating & Air clients, including restaurants, grocery stores, and commercial kitchens, by servicing essential refrigeration equipment. The role exists to keep commercial refrigeration systems operating reliably through troubleshooting, repairs, scheduled maintenance, and emergency service. It also helps prevent breakdowns by identifying issues, communicating with clients and dispatch, and recommending equipment or maintenance options.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, and ice machines
• perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs
• replace system components
• charge systems and test pressure and performance
• document potential issues
• maintain a stocked service vehicle
• communicate with clients and dispatch
• recommend upgrades and maintenance agreements
• follow EPA and safety rules for refrigerant handling
• assist in mentoring junior technicians as needed.
