• Ensure efficient, customer-focused workflows, processes, resident systems, and programming

• develop and oversee standards, systems, policies, and procedures
• pursue revenue, cost, and market-share objectives in assigned departments or service lines
• optimize resources
• align departmental goals with the hospital’s strategic plan
• support physician retention and recruitment
• maintain professional affiliations and contacts.
