Assistant Teacher

The Assistant Teacher role is onsite in Collegeville, PA, with pay of $17–$21 per hour. This full-time position supports Children of America classrooms serving children from 6 weeks through 12 years of age. Working alongside lead teachers, the assistant helps create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom experience. The role supports children’s care and development while helping the classroom team carry out daily learning activities and routines.

What you'll do

• Assist with daily lesson plans and classroom activities
• maintain a safe, clean, structured learning environment
• provide attentive care
• support routines, transitions, meals, and nap time
• observe and document development
• maintain classroom records
• communicate with children, families, and colleagues
• participate in programs and events.
