The Human Resources Generalist – Operations and Compliance role is onsite in Delavan, WI. Base salary is $75,000–$88,000 per year, depending on experience. Delavan Holdings supports six companies and more than 3,000 team members across Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota. The generalist owns HR policy, compliance, and leave administration while coordinating enterprise projects across business units. The work translates multi-state employment requirements into policies and practices and supports consistent HR operations across the organization.

What you'll do

• Write and maintain HR policies and employee handbooks
• track employment law changes across four states
• administer FMLA, state leaves, ADA accommodations, and return-to-work coordination
• manage workers’ compensation claims and support other claims
• manage notices, postings, audits, and reporting
• maintain employee and leave data in Paylocity
• project-manage performance appraisal, engagement survey, and policy rollout programs.

Why this role
