HVAC Field Service Supervisor

Job overview

The HVAC Field Service Supervisor position is onsite in Hayes, VA, with field work supporting residential service teams across Hampton Roads, Williamsburg, and the Middle Peninsula. Compensation is $35–$38 per hour, plus commission opportunities and bonuses. Comfortable Climate is a locally owned HVAC, plumbing, and electrical company. The supervisor leads and develops residential HVAC technicians while remaining involved in field work. The role provides technical troubleshooting, coaching, ride-alongs, schedule coordination, and support for service quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and department procedures.

What you'll do

• Support and supervise residential HVAC service technicians
• conduct ride-alongs, job observations, and performance evaluations
• assist with complex troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs
• step in on service calls, estimates, and high-demand situations when needed
• coach technicians
• identify training needs
• coordinate schedules and priorities
• monitor workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction
• and help improve department procedures and workflow.
