Event Security – Sports & Entertainment Support

Job overview

The Event Security role is onsite in Syracuse, NY, supporting sports and concert events. Starting pay is $18 per hour, with flexible shifts and evenings and weekends available. Allied Universal Event Services provides event staffing and crowd management at venues including stadiums, concerts, festivals, and convention centers. The role helps protect guests, staff, and venue assets while supporting a safe and positive event experience. Security staff manage entry, screen guests, monitor checkpoints, respond to potential crowd-control issues, and provide directions and customer service.

What you'll do

• Assist with event-day preparation and execution
• manage venue entry and may collect or scan tickets and verify credentials
• screen guests using bag searches, hand wands, metal detectors, and ID checks
• monitor security checkpoints
• respond to potential crowd-control issues and escort guests when ejections are warranted
• follow venue policies
• provide directions and helpful guest service.
