Senior Solution Architect — Digital Evidence Platform

Job overview

The Senior Solution Architect role is onsite in Washington, DC. Compensation is $180,000 per year. The architect supports the U.S. Department of Justice Digital Evidence Review Platform program, serving users across U.S. Attorneys’ Offices. The role defines and governs the platform’s end-to-end technical architecture, translating mission and technical requirements into implementable designs. It helps ensure secure, scalable integration and delivery across application, data, identity, cloud, security, operations, and DevSecOps components.

What you'll do

• Lead architecture across application, integration, data, identity and access management, cloud infrastructure, security, operations, and DevSecOps
• guide configuration and integration of commercial and Government platforms
• design open-standard services and APIs where custom development is needed
• maintain architecture diagrams, interface specifications, technical baselines, standards, and roadmaps
• evaluate alternatives and manage risks and dependencies
• support Agile planning, reviews, testing, deployment, and transition to operations
• ensure requirements traceability
• support integration with Government systems
• define data models, access-control patterns, deployment environments, CI/CD practices, resilience, and scalability.
