Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP)

The Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) role is an onsite position in Golden, CO. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour, plus $0.10 per hour for each year of worked experience. The role supports medication management for residents at Golden Lodge Assisted Living. The QMAP helps the facility meet Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment medication-management regulations by administering and documenting medications according to physician orders and established protocols. The role also coordinates medication orders and related issues with the Medication Manager and facility staff while providing caregiver support during assigned shifts.

What you'll do

• Provide medication management and documentation according to physician orders and training
• complete electronic medication administration records correctly
• place medication orders and provide order documentation for review
• follow up on correspondence with physicians and the pharmacy
• check roll packs for missing or incorrect medications when trained
• count narcotics with another QMAP at the start and end of assigned shifts and document administration
• monitor and distribute medications after counts
• and perform caregiver duties alongside the scheduled caregiver.
