Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide role is onsite in Clarks Summit, PA, with pay of $14 per hour. Abington Manor is seeking dietary aides to support its team of caregivers. The role supports residents’ meal service and dietary needs while maintaining clean work areas and coordinating requests with nursing staff and the cook.

What you'll do

• Prepare or deliver items for medication passes
• set up resident meal trays according to specified diets
• place hot and cold foods on trays
• prepare sandwiches, drinks, and other meal items according to diet cards
• deliver and retrieve trays
• wash and put away tray items
• restock dish-machine chemicals
• remove trash and clean work areas
• respond to requests from nursing staff and residents
• assist the cook and prepare food for special meals or parties
• make authorized food substitutions.
