Mold Maintenance Technician

The Mold Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Rockwall, TX. Compensation is $22–$34 per hour. The position supports production by maintaining injection molds used in plastics manufacturing. The technician performs preventive, corrective, and routine mold maintenance to keep tooling in working condition for production runs. By repairing components, documenting work, and collaborating with production and engineering colleagues, the role helps address tooling issues that affect product quality and production.

What you'll do

• Inspect, clean, and maintain injection molds
• troubleshoot and repair mold components
• disassemble and reassemble molds
• document maintenance and repairs
• collaborate with process technicians, mold setters, and engineers
• identify recurring problems
• use grinders, polishing equipment, hand tools, and micrometers
• maintain organized mold storage
• assist with mold trials and qualification
• follow safety procedures.
