Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator — Day Shift

The Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator role is onsite in Mount Pleasant, PA. Compensation is not specified. The role exists to support SMT production by staging products, preparing feeders and pick-and-place machines, and assisting with electronic assembly work. Accurate component handling and adherence to instructions help produce quality assemblies.

What you'll do

• Load, set up, and stage product on SMT lines
• set up and tear down feeders for pick-and-place machines
• assist with setup and operation of pick-and-place machines
• assist in building electronic assemblies as needed
• manually place SMT and PIH components
• read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and load plans
• follow instructions and IPC-610 standards.
