Receiver — Day Shift

Job overview

The Receiver role is an onsite, full-time position in Sumner, WA, with a 10:00 AM start and availability across all seven days required. Pay is $21.00–$24.00 per hour. United Salad Co. distributes fresh produce, grocery, and food-service products across the Pacific Northwest to grocers, restaurants, schools, and other institutions. This role supports accurate, safe warehouse receiving so incoming goods are checked, recorded, sorted, and stored correctly and warehouse picks are ready for each shift.

What you'll do

• Inspect inbound trucks for cleanliness and product temperatures
• check received quantities and quality against purchase orders and specifications
• match bills of lading with receiving paperwork
• sort and segregate loads
• count and tag pallets
• enter pack and expiration dates and weights
• scan stock into the computer system and store produce in assigned warehouse locations
• ensure pick locations are stocked.
