What you'll do

• Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment.
• Obtain high-quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation.
• Facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast material.
• Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices.
• Document all pertinent clinical information within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
• Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues.
• Keep room(s) stocked with necessary supplies.
• Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed.

Education

Graduate of a 2-year Radiologic Technology program

Experience

1-3 years previous MRI Technologist experience
