Job overview

The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Indianapolis, IN, with pay of $19–$23 per hour. The assistant supports direct patient care and medical staff at Raphael Health Center.

What you'll do

• Perform direct patient-care duties
• observe, document, and communicate patient conditions
• collect medical information
• safely perform phlebotomy, injections, and other clinical procedures under protocol
• prepare and label specimens
• support lab tasks and supply stocking
• handle prescription refill requests and prior authorizations
• assist with phones, patient education, and front-office procedures
• and maintain patient confidentiality. Patient intake and appointment scheduling may be part of the role.
