The Lead X-Ray Technologist role is onsite in Aurora, CO, with compensation of $26–$30 per hour. American Family Care provides walk-in primary and urgent care, including onsite X-ray services, seven days a week. This role performs radiographic imaging to help physicians diagnose injuries and disease while supervising X-ray staff. It also supports safe, high-quality imaging and the center’s patient-care operations.

What you'll do

• Interview, hire, and train X-ray staff
• greet patients and explain procedures
• position patients for imaging
• use ALARA radiation protection techniques
• process images and check identification and quality
• operate digital and non-digital imaging equipment
• assist physicians with prescribed treatments as needed
• maintain equipment and arrange repairs
• keep the work area clean and supplies stocked
• may cross-train in medical assisting and reception.
