The Children’s Therapist (AMFT, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC) role is onsite at two locations: El Cajon and Mission Valley in San Diego, CA. It is full-time, with a minimum of 25–30 clients per week. Pay is $30–$90 per hour, depending on the client’s insurance and cash-pay option. The therapist collaborates with Children’s Healthcare Group and WAVE Therapy, including pediatricians and nurse practitioners. The therapist provides care to children and families and helps connect medical and behavioral health services. The role manages client scheduling and clinical documentation, participates in weekly consultation and staff meetings, and works with clinical support, supervision, and mentorship to develop a caseload and practice skills.

What you'll do

• Provide compassionate, quality therapy to clients
• schedule clients and enter required information
• complete progress notes, initial assessments, treatment plans, charge forms, and case records
• attend weekly consultation groups and staff meetings
• collaborate with pediatricians, nurse practitioners, and the WAVE Therapy and Children’s Healthcare Group teams.
