The Family Resource & Behavioral Health Coordinator is an onsite, part-time role based primarily at the Genesee Clubhouse in Waukegan, Illinois, with regular travel to other BGCLC locations and community partners. Pay is $23–$27 per hour. The position supports the Boys & Girls Club of Lake County Program Department in connecting youth and families with community resources. The coordinator assesses family needs, arranges referrals and warm hand-offs, follows up on access to services, and maintains referral and outcome records. The role also strengthens community partnerships and supports Club staff while following established crisis-response and mandated-reporting procedures; it is non-clinical and does not provide counseling or treatment.
What you'll do
- Assess family needs
- connect youth and families with behavioral health, healthcare, housing, food, and other resources
- coordinate referrals and warm hand-offs
- follow up on service access and referral outcomes
- build community partnerships
- support Club staff
- maintain confidential case-management documentation and program data
- follow crisis-response and mandated-reporting procedures
- travel between Club and partner locations.
