What you'll do

• Uses equipment to collect samples of blood and other fluids from patients/residents
• explains procedures to patients/residents and collects information from them in a professional manner. Collects and manages samples of blood and specimens from patients/residents
• ensures patient/resident safety during the sample collection process. Records and documents patient/resident information accurately. Follows all standard procedures and safety regulations
• deploys asepsis techniques during phlebotomy procedures. Communicates with patients/residents, collecting their health information and answering their questions regarding phlebotomy procedures.

What we're looking for

Education

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) required.

Experience
