Shift Lead — Bakery

The Shift Lead is an onsite, full-time role in South Charleston, WV, paying $14–$16 per hour. The role supports daily bakery operations at Nothing Bundt Cakes and helps maintain the bakery’s guest experience and product standards. The shift lead guides team members during assigned shifts, supports production and order fulfillment, and helps ensure products and the bakery meet quality, freshness, cleanliness, and food-safety standards. Communication with the Bakery Manager helps keep operations running smoothly.

What you'll do

• Lead and support bakery team members during assigned shifts
• assist with baking, frosting, decorating, guest service, and order fulfillment as needed
• maintain product quality and freshness
• follow sanitation procedures
• assist with opening and closing, cash handling, cleaning, and securing the bakery
• prioritize production and orders
• communicate operational needs and guest concerns to the Bakery Manager
• coach team members
• monitor inventory, rotation, labeling, dating, and waste.
