Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) - Long Term Care in Alexandria, SD. This is a part-time, onsite position with a salary range of $21.00 - $28.00 per hour. This role serves as a caregiver who provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a charge nurse, and administers prescribed medications as delegated.

What you'll do

• Serve as caregiver providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document resident care, medication administration, behavior, activity, and dietary.
• Communicate changing condition and medication follow-up to charge nurse.
• Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry services.
• Assist with wellness and recreational programs.

What we're looking for

Education

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Experience

Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
