Sterilizer Operator I

The Sterilizer Operator I role is full-time and onsite in San Jose, CA, with compensation of $23–$25 per hour. The operator programs, loads, and unloads ethylene oxide sterilizers and completes customer work orders and testing records. The role supports controlled sterilization processes through protocol execution, equipment and facility upkeep, documentation, and compliance with quality procedures and applicable regulations.

What you'll do

• Program, load, and unload EO sterilizers
• complete work orders based on customer requests and protocols
• test biological indicators and record results
• communicate with customers
• manage inventory and supplier reorders
• receive products and prepare shipping documents as needed
• maintain equipment and facility cleanliness
• maintain documentation
• interpret protocols and execute the performance qualification portion of product validation
• comply with EO sterilization regulations, QMS procedures, and company policies.
