Sales Development Representative

Job overview

The Sales Development Representative role is onsite in Piqua, OH. Expected total compensation is approximately $35,000–$55,000 annually, depending on experience and sales performance, with base salary plus commission. A.M. Leonard’s Sales team develops relationships with existing customers and helps them find relevant products and solutions. The representative follows up with existing customers, learns about their businesses and purchasing needs, identifies opportunities for repeat and additional business, and coordinates with account managers and other teams. The role contributes to customer retention and revenue growth through helpful conversations and consistent follow-through.

What you'll do

• Contact existing customers by phone and email
• learn about customer businesses, needs, and purchasing patterns
• identify opportunities for additional products or services
• follow up after initial purchases and on quotes and product questions
• review purchase history
• recommend suitable products
• maintain accurate CRM notes
• identify potential larger accounts and coordinate with account managers
• collaborate with customer service, account managers, and product management
• meet customer-development goals.
