Registered Nurse – General Residential Operations

The part-time Registered Nurse role is onsite in Tyler, TX; compensation is not specified. The nurse supports Azleway’s General Residential Operations Program and its residents. The role provides and coordinates resident healthcare, including medication management, assessments and care planning. It helps maintain residents’ health and safety through direct care, staff education, documentation and coordination with healthcare providers and community resources.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and perform ordered procedures
• monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being
• conduct health assessments and wound care
• develop and update individualized care plans
• educate residents and staff
• coordinate healthcare services and community resources
• maintain medical records and medication logs
• respond to emergencies
• advocate for resident health and safety
• participate in quality improvement and team meetings.
