Senior Industrial Maintenance Mechanic — Production Equipment

The Senior Industrial Maintenance Mechanic works onsite in Long Beach, CA. Pay is $29 per hour, depending on experience. The role is part of the Engineering Department at American Textile Maintenance and supports industrial laundry and production equipment. The mechanic independently troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains production equipment to support reliability, production uptime, and recovery from equipment failures. Preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis help reduce unplanned downtime.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
• troubleshoot and repair conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, boilers, VFDs, sensors, and industrial electrical controls
• analyze recurring failures and implement corrective actions
• update maintenance records in the CMMS
• maintain spare-parts inventory as required
• record utility consumption
• operate material-handling equipment safely
• provide limited general facility maintenance as operational needs require
• perform basic machining as required.
