ITAD Technician – Testing & E-Commerce

The ITAD Technician – Testing & E-Commerce role is onsite in Plainfield, IL. Compensation is $17–$25 per hour. Green Electronics Solutions works to recycle and repurpose electronic waste and support environmental sustainability. The role tests, grades, repairs, and securely wipes used electronics while helping prepare products for resale and supporting customers. It also contributes to team workflows and helps train entry-level team members, supporting the company's reuse and recycling operations.

What you'll do

• Test, diagnose, grade, and wipe laptops, desktops, tablets, and servers
• identify and replace components
• record test results
• create e-commerce product listings with photos, descriptions, pricing, and inventory
• respond to customer questions and handle after-sales issues, returns, exchanges, and troubleshooting
• support and train entry-level team members
• contribute to workflow improvements.

Why this role
