Patient Services Specialist

What you'll do

• Register patients and verify demographics
• collect copays and balances
• check insurance eligibility
• manage provider schedules, calls, appointments, and medical records
• relay messages under provider direction
• maintain front-office supplies and cleanliness
• post payments and reconcile daily activity
• obtain vital signs and provide backup medical assistant duties, including supervised treatments and specimen collection when needed
• follow HIPAA, OSHA, and compliance requirements.
