Immunization Coordinator

The Immunization Coordinator role is onsite, with scheduled workdays in Poway and Lakeside, CA, and alternating Wednesdays between the locations. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; compensation is $24.95–$34.93 per hour. Neighborhood Healthcare is a nonprofit community health organization focused on providing quality care to all. The coordinator maintains vaccine availability and supports compliant immunization services across clinics. The role contributes to accurate patient records, vaccine administration, inventory control, appointment follow-up, and staff education.

What you'll do

• Validate immunization information and enter missing data in eClinicalWorks, CAIR, and immunization cards
• work with the immunization team to identify vaccines, orders, and dosages
• administer injections and provide vaccine information sheets
• schedule vaccine and recall appointments
• run missed-opportunity reports
• provide vaccine updates and training to medical assistant staff
• monitor and order inventory, check expiration dates, maintain temperature logs, and clean refrigerators and freezers
• conduct inventory counts
• follow VFC and VFA guidelines
• prepare management reports.
