Security Engineer – STARS Project

What you'll do

• Support planning, design, engineering, upgrading, and monitoring of security protocols and systems
• perform security assessments under state and federal law
• manage and update the STARS Plan of Action and Milestones, findings, and metrics
• assess and recommend security solutions
• conduct risk assessments, audits, and tests
• collaborate with analysts, engineers, architects, and other technical teams
• review project documentation and attend meetings
• develop and implement data-protection plans
• review security violations and policies
• identify opportunities to automate privacy and compliance activities.

Why this role
