What you'll do

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and protocols
• obtain accurate images for physician interpretation
• prepare and administer contrast agents as directed under physician supervision
• verify patient identity, orders, and clinical information
• position patients and operate radiographic equipment
• maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy
• review images and obtain additional images when needed
• follow radiation safety and regulatory standards
• document examinations
• maintain equipment and work areas and follow infection prevention protocols.
