Facility Space Planner

Job overview

The Facility Space Planner works onsite at the Pentagon in Washington, DC. The expected salary is $80,000 to $90,000 per year. The role supports the Secretary of the Air Force, Administrative Assistant, with space management across Department of the Air Force locations in the National Capital Region. The planner coordinates real-property and space-management programs, analyzes utilization, manages allocation and relocation planning, and prepares documentation and recommendations so facilities and budgets support mission requirements.

What you'll do

• Plan and coordinate real-property and space-management programs
• conduct interviews, inspections, and space assessments
• analyze and allocate space
• develop procedures and guidance
• support acquisitions, leases, reporting, and budgets
• prepare space requests and approvals
• coordinate relocations, alterations, and repairs
• brief leadership and prepare executive responses.
