What you'll do

• Consult by phone with clients, caregivers, physicians, case managers, and community resources to assess program eligibility
• complete an average of 20–25 assessments daily at 98% accuracy
• document medical histories and assess product use and quantity needs
• identify appropriate products and quantities
• reassess when medical conditions or quantity requests change
• obtain prior authorization for off-formulary or over-quantity requests
• review letters of medical necessity
• check account accuracy and report errors
• participate in the after-hours emergency call rotation
• use intranet tools
• educate employees or external clients about products.
