The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Scarborough, ME, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay is $27–$29 per hour. New England Life Care is a nonprofit home infusion provider serving more than 70 hospital systems in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.

What you'll do

• Welcome and assist clinic patients
• schedule appointments and coordinate provider workflows
• assist with assessments, examinations, and procedures
• maintain confidential medical records
• prepare infusion equipment, supplies, and medications under provider direction
• document vital signs and report changes to the nurse
• coordinate with pharmacies, insurance, and other departments
• manage visit workflows, referrals, patient contacts, delivery tickets, and delivery timelines
• maintain clinic cleanliness and follow infection-control standards.
